Awards and Appearances

LA Times Festival Of Books at USC
I’ll be on the Target Children’s Stage 2:55 – 3:15pm, Sunday April 22nd

Then it's off to the Edgar Awards in New York City on April 26th, where THE WIZARD OF DARK STREET has been nominated for best juvinile novel.

And then its a quick flight to Washington DC for the annual Malice Domestic Convention and the Agatha Awards on April 28th, where THE WIZARD OF DARK STREET has also been nominated for best Children's/Young Adult novel.

And then it's back to California for a week long school book tour!

Edgar Award Nomination

THE WIZARD OF DARK STREET has been nominated for a 2012 Edgar Award!  One of five nominees for Best Juvenile Novel.  It truly is an honor, and I am immensely excited to be in such great company.  Here is a link to all of the nominees.

Also, I just came back from the Wi7 Booksellers Convention in New Orleans.  Had a great time signing books and meeting all of the wonderful booksellers from all over the US and Canada.  And of course, the food and music was out of this world!
